OPP (polypropylene) raw material is durable and transparent. It is often used in combination with other films (e.g. LDPE) for heat sealing. Its barrier properties can be improved by coating it with PVDC (polyvinylidene chloride) or metallized film. OPP plastic raw material is made during the production of PP in film form. Its mechanical properties are changed by stretching in one direction.
It is brighter and more transparent than LDPE bags, has high mechanical and optical properties and is protective against chemicals. It has dust-free and haze-free properties. It is a more flexible material than BOPP. It is resistant to welding stresses and tears.
It is usually called gelatin material. The material, which has a wide range of uses especially in the textile, food, flower packaging and stationery sectors, can also be used as a lamination layer thanks to its low temperature weld retention and durability.
